Introduction to Landscape Greening

Landscape greening refers to the use of information engineering management technology and artistic education methods in a certain regional culture, which involves transforming the terrain (or further building mountains, stacking stones, and managing water), planting trees, flowers, and grass, creating a building, and arranging garden roads to create beautiful natural ecological environments and recreational environments. It is called landscape greening. Landscape greening mainly includes gardens, homesteads, small amusement parks, gardens, parks, botanical gardens, zoos, etc. With the development of landscape greening disciplines in China, it also includes tourist areas and rest areas for forest parks, scenic spots, natural resource reserves, or national construction parks.

In history, the entertainment environment field has been named differently based on its different content and form. During the Shang and Zhou dynasties in China, the territories where animals were hunted and appreciated were called confinement and hunting parks. During the Qin and Han dynasties, the territory where the emperor rested was called a garden or palace garden; Official or private land is referred to as gardens, garden ponds, residential gardens, other commercial properties, etc. The term "garden" is used in poetry after the Western Jin Dynasty, such as Zhang Han's "miscellaneous poems" which include the phrase "harmonious late spring, white sunshine garden"; Zhang Lun, a farmer from Yang Xuan's "Luoyang Jialan" during the Northern Wei Dynasty, said, "Beautiful gardens, mountains, and ponds are beyond Wang Chaoyue." After the Song Dynasty, the term "garden" was widely used, often referring to various leisure places mentioned above.

园林绿化

According to modern people's understanding, landscaping is not only used for entertainment, but also has the function of protecting and improving the environment. Plants can absorb carbon dioxide, release oxygen, and purify the air; To a certain extent, they can absorb harmful gases, absorb dust, and reduce pollution; They can regulate the temperature and humidity of the air. Improve microclimate, reduce noise, and achieve wind and fire protection effects. More importantly, landscaping has a beneficial effect on psychology and spirit. Leisure in beautiful scenery and quiet gardens can alleviate the tension and fatigue caused by long hours of work, thereby restoring mental and physical strength. Activities such as garden culture, recreation, sports, and popular science education can enrich knowledge and enrich spiritual life.

In terms of layout, landscaping can be divided into three categories: rules representing Western gardens, Italian national palaces, and Chinese royal gardens. The representative of natural style is the combination of Chinese private garden design, Suzhou traditional garden greening development, Lingnan cultural garden, and modern architectural rules and natural style.

From the perspective of development models, landscape greening can be divided into two categories: first, utilizing the original natural wind, eliminating chaos, repairing and developing, opening up roads, laying out garden buildings, and forming natural gardens without manual labor. For example, private villas built in natural river valley areas in the Tang Dynasty can be called mountain villas, such as Dayong County in Zhangjiajie, Songpan County in Hunan Province, and Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area Valley in Sichuan Province. The natural area is beautiful and slightly increased, which can be used for construction and development, and called natural scenic spots; For example, Mount Taishan Mountain, Mount Huangshan Mountain, Mount Wuyi, etc., develop cultural relics, myths, religions and artistic content, and are called scenic spots. The second is artificial gardens, which improve the ecological environment within a certain range, beautify the environment, meet the needs of recreational and cultural life, and create the environment, such as small gardens, gardens, parks, etc.
